Shu Zhang, PhD

Dr. Shu Zhang is an MRI physicist and imaging scientist with more than a decade of experience advancing magnetic resonance imaging technologies for clinical and research applications. She has led innovations in quantitative MRI, diffusion imaging, synthetic imaging, and AI-powered image analysis at Houston Methodist, UT Southwestern, and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Zhang has authored 17 peer-reviewed publications, holds multiple patents, and specializes in translating advanced MRI methods into clinical practice. Dr. Zhang holds a Ph.D. from UT Southwestern, an M.S. from Tsinghua University and a B.S. from Sichuan University.
